Complete Beginners Course
This beginners course will be a thorough step by step introduction to the theory and practice of traditional hatha yoga. The benefits of yoga are felt through regular, consistent practice so committing to a course helps you to have this experience and helps you get into the routine of doing it.
In the course we will explore breathing exercises, the 12 classical yoga postures of the Sivananda class sequence and relaxation practices. We will also introduce you to some of the science and benefits of the practice.
This course will be a great introduction to start you on your path of yoga and to prepare you for our regular drop-in classes or your own home practice. We offer an improvers course after the beginners course also to help you deepen what you have already learnt if you are interested to take your practice further.

A payment is required in full before the course starts to confirm your place which you can pay by bank transfer, cheque or cash in advance. The courses are usually full so best to book early!
Please note no refunds are given for any courses, but we can possibly transfer you to another course if needed for a transfer fee of £20
Beginners 8 Hour Intensive Weekend Course
Sunday 11th & Saturday 17th October 1.30-5.30pm
This intensive course will introduce you to the basic theory and practice of yoga over 2 weekends and will prepare you well for our regular drop-in classes.
Spread over 2 half days on the weekends, it should be easy to fit into your schedule and there will be some homework guidance in between sessions. There will also be the opportunity of one evening online or in person 90 minute review session in between each weekend, to be discussed with the group, at a small additional cost
An improvers intensive course will be offered at the end on another weekend if there is interest.
Outline of each afternoon:
1.30-3pm - first introductory practice session
3-4pm- tea break, vegan energy balls and an introductory talk to the science and philosophy of yoga, explaining many of it's benefits to inspire you in your practice.
4-5.30pm - second practice session
