A delicious vegan milk that you can easily make to go on cereals, in drinks or as a drink by itself. It is a much richer almond milk compared to the ones you get in the shop as most cartons of almond milk have only about 1% of almonds in them. A very nourishing, nutritious plant based milk. I normally make 3-4 portions and keep in a air tight jug in the fridge. It keeps for 2-3 days in the fridge this way. It is nice warmed up in a saucepan.
Makes 1 mug

Ingredients

-
10-12 almonds
-
2-3 pitted dates
-
1 mug of filtered water
-
pinch of cinnamon and cardamon powder ( optional, but it's a good digestive )

Method
-
Soak almonds and dates over night in separate bowls.
-
Peel skin off almonds. An easy way to do this is to put them in boiled water for a minute and then the skins just slide off.
-
Put all in a good blender, blend until smooth and serve.
