Spring Equinox Retreat - “The Power of Positive Thinking “ - Welshpool, Wales, 22 – 26 March, 2012 (4 nights)
Full Moon Retreat in Glastonbury – on an Organic Farm – 27 – 30 September, 2012 (3 nights)
Get away from the hustle and bustle of city life into the beautiful countryside at one of our Yoga and Meditation Retreats.
This is the perfect opportunity for you to fully recharge and inspire yourselves with the daily practise of yoga and meditation, walks in the countryside, delicious vegetarian/vegan meals and other workshops and activities. Holistic massage treatments are also available on request.
Next year, I have two retreats planned. The first one is a 4-day retreat in our regular location in Welshpool, in the heart of Wales. It is a beautiful house which can accommodate a small group of 12 and is one of the most peaceful places that I know. You can only hear the bleating of sheep around you!
This retreat will have as it's theme -
"The Power of Positive Thinking" and we will be having talks and readings on this as part of our daily programme with inspiration from Swami Sivananda's wonderful book, "Thought Power".
It will be held over the Spring Equinox time from Thursday March 22nd from around 3pm and continuing through till Monday 26th March, ending around lunchtime.
This is a special time with the outbreak of Spring and a perfect time to recharge and rejuvenate after the winter season. There is sure to be many little baby lambs around to entertain us as well!! The cost for this retreat is £250 all inclusive and normally we arrange a car share, with share of petrol costs to get ourselves there and back.
I recommend to book early for this as we have just 9 spaces available for students.
The second retreat will take place over the full moon weekend at the end of September from Thursday 27th, starting around 3pm and ending on Sunday afternoon 30 September. This retreat will take place on an organic farm in the heart of Glastonbury town.
Many of you may know that Glastonbury is renown for it's energetic qualities as many ley lines meet right there and so is respected for it's strong spiritual energy and is considered one of England's historic pilgrimage sites. There are many sacred/pagan places of worship such as the Tor and the Chalice Well. I have been there several times and had a most inspiring time and this is the reason why I have decided to hold a retreat there.
This retreat will also be special as I have invited one guest, Rakesh, an Indian man and specialist in the field of sustainable living, permaculture, natural bee keeping and generally living off the land in a non-violent and ethical way. He works actively in schools and the local community educating people in how to live more off-grid, off the land with the highest respect for mother nature. I have attended several of his lectures and find him a truly inspiring person and this is why I have invited him to share his wisdom and inspiration with us. He is also a yoga teacher and spiritual practitioner. The retreat will be set on an organic farm, the perfect location for theme of this retreat.
We may also have a full moon meditation evening in the Chalice Well garden and some classical Indian music concerts for some of the evenings. So you can see it is going to be a very special time and I recommend you all to join us.
This retreat, may be larger up to 30-40 people, however, I still recommend to reserve a place as I believe places will go quickly.
It is a 3 night retreat and the price for this will be £195.
